How do KeepKey transactions work?

Unlike desktop wallets, KeepKey does not store private keys on your computer's hard drive. The computer client must pass transactions to the KeepKey device, requesting that they be signed.

Once a request is received by the KeepKey, it displays the transaction details and prompts the user to provide manual confirmation by pressing the button on the device. When the transaction is approved by the user, it is signed and returned to the computer client then broadcasted on the bitcoin network.
